This set of candle holders was made in Jizchak Bier in his workshop in Jerusalem during the 1950’s. Surviving the Holocaust, Bier was one of the few silversmiths in the young state of Israel. Bier is a graduate of Bezalel academy of art and design, and specialized in silver Judaica, like this set of Shabbat candleholders.  He became to be one of the most important silversmiths in Israel. This is a costume- made Sterling silver piece.
