A silver, long chained necklace made by the Israeli jewelry artist Rachel Gera. Born in Israel to a Polish family, she is among the "Teheran children," a group of Polish youngsters sent to Teheran, Iran, during World War II. A graduate of the Bezalel Academy of Art and Design, her artistry is profoundly influenced by her diverse personal background. The creation of this artwork represents a collaboration between the artist and her husband, Eli Gera.
