A Peruvian colonial hairpin. A 19^th century style of hairpins, called “colonial” since it is a mix of native Inca artifacts, hairpins and other tools introduced to the people of Peru during the Spanish colonialism. These hair or cloths pins have a distinctive appearance with different charms hanging from their extremities.
