A Maghrebi designed necklace- either from Yemen or Tunisia, where the use of silver in women jewelry is still very common to this day. The culture of amulets is known to have passed time or geographic location. Each culture had its own beliefs, and in Jewish houses amulets were found since the times of the First Temple of Jerusalem. This necklace, made of real silver entirely (926) was probably used to carry the amulet or even perfume in its lavalier.
